Website Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our website. We’re sure you can figure this out for yourself but in these terms:
You means you
We, LawVu, our, us etc means LawVu Limited
That’s the introduction out of the way, now the legal stuff that our legal team wants you to know
As well as being like a box of chocolates, life is also continually changing. It is therefore most likely that at some future point in time we might decide to make changes to the Terms and by continuing to use the website you agree to be bound by those revised Terms. It would therefore pay to check in on these Terms each time you access the site.
LawVu is a technology company that makes beautiful products to help lawyers work more efficiently. We are not lawyers or a law firm so we don’t provide legal advice. If you need legal advice then talk to a real lawyer.
The website might contain links to third-party websites or services. They are called third parties because we don’t own them. Because we don’t own them we have no control over them. Because we have no control over them we assume no responsibility for them, their content or services. You should therefore read the legal stuff on their websites – makes sense eh?
The website is provided on an “ as is” basis without any representation or warranty and we will not be liable for any actual or consequential loss or damage arising from its use.
Also, accessing and using the website is at your own risk. You agree to indemnify and hold LawVu and our employees harmless against all liabilities, damages and costs which may arise against us from your use of the website.
Don’t steal our stuff. We own all the intellectual property rights in the website and its content. If you want to do anything with it then you need our consent first.
We’re sure that we’re not going to fall out but you need to know that our HQ is in New Zealand so these Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and that you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand. That’s a good thing, if we do fall out it means you get to visit our beautiful country. We’d also be happy to suggest things to see while you are here, but as we have already fallen out our legal team tell us that it will need to come with a heap of legal caveats.
