Let’s take a quick tour of the Law View Legal Workspace. The goal of this demo is just to give you an overview of what’s possible with the platform. When you’re ready to get into more detail, you can head back to our demo library to dive deeper into specific areas of functionality like contract matter and spend management.

Or you can learn about specific use cases like intake reporting and insights. You can also book a custom demo anytime. It’s really the best way to assess whether law view is a good fit for your legal team and how it can help you. Okay, so let’s get started. First, let’s just get oriented. We’ll understand the main component parts of the law view, legal workspace.

To put it simply, the legal workspace is a single place to manage all your legal work with support for a wide variety of workflows. It’s both a single source of truth and a valuable workflow management tool. Right now we’re looking at the hub, which is kind of the nexus of activity for individual users or members of the legal team.

It’s automatically populated with recent work, so it’s super easy to get back to what you need to do. It’s also a place for you to see what actions you need to take next. For example, this actions widget tells me I need to approve some invoices from outside counsel, take a look at some contracts, and start working on a matter that’s been assigned to me.

The planner shows me key dates related to tasks and contract obligations. Each person can personalize this space to suit their needs and areas of focus. So let’s take a look down the left hand navigation and we’ll learn more about what’s in the workspace. Actions and embedded conversations are key collaboration features in Lobby.

They’ll help you keep work moving forward, connect you as a team, and create business continuity. Matter management is the core of the legal workspace. What you see here is what we call the matters grid. It’s basically a unified view or repository for all your legal projects, matters, requests, compliance, tracking, et cetera, et cetera.

And it’s a bit hidden behind the scenes, but worth knowing that matter. Management includes embedded document management, including the ability to store, organize, and search documents and emails. Contract management is full contract lifecycle management, including a contract repository. Automated approval workflows, integrated e-signature and more.

And spend management is all the capabilities for centralizing and handling invoices, budgets, reporting, and securely collaborating with outside counsel. There’s also a knowledge base so you can create and store templates, policies and FAQs for the team and the wider business. There are heaps of out of the box integrations and last but definitely not least, reporting and dashboards.

Now, I’ll stop on this view because like the hub, this is such a good way to see the power of the legal workspace in action. This is the GC dashboard and it’s a single consolidated view of key legal metrics. There are also out of the box dashboards and reports for each individual capability like matter contract.

And spend management law view is modular, so you can choose to use just matter management, and I strongly recommend you take a look at our matter management demo so you can get as excited about it as we do, but you also have that option for integrated CLM and spend management. Now, there are advantages to managing multiple workflows in the legal workspace, including greater efficiency, consolidated data, and less technology overhead.

But it’s totally up to you. Law view will scale to meet your needs. Now, you can see from this view that whether you choose to use matter management, contract management, spend management, or all three, the workspace is designed to seamlessly bring those workflows together in one place. Global search is another great way to see both ease of use and the power of a single source of truth.

One quick search, and I’ve got results from across contracts matters, knowledge base, documents, files, and emails. Last but not least, the legal workspace has great ways to connect everyone in the business to get legal work done. The law view business portal is the most prominent way to engage with the business.

Yeah, basically it’s an intake portal and you can brand and configure it to promote self-service. For example, access to FAQs and policies. It’s also a great way to capture and funnel legal requests in one place, so you end up with better structured data, total visibility, and less back and forth, as well as contract automation.

There’s also a law view, mobile application, and lots of integrations that connect your business tools and your legal workspace. So let’s do a quick pit stop in the admin portal where you can configure and manage your instance of lobby. I know it doesn’t sound exciting, but actually our customers rave about it, so I want you to see how you can make lobby reflect your ways of working, capture the data you need and keep everything up to date on your own.

Configuring and updating the workspace is all done through drag, drop and wizards, so the admin user interface is as easy to use as the rest of the workspace. Which means you don’t need expensive services or technical experts or lots of time, but our support and customer success teams are always here to help.

Now that you have the lay of the land, please head over and take a look at the specific demos that you’re interested in or book a demo with our team and we’ll get into all the details that you need.
