Migrations and Integrations Specialist

Job Summary

As a Migrations and Integrations Specialist, you are key in assessing and understanding client requirements and use cases, as well as documenting, designing, deploying, and maintaining customer solutions centred around the LawVu workspace.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective adoption, use and retention of LawVu technology through the transformation of client operational workflows both within and outside of LawVu.

Working within the LawVu Professional Services department, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success and clients during pre and post-sale to understand each client’s unique legal operations, workflow requirements, and use cases.
  • Document client requirements, prepare SOWs and Project Plans, working with multiple stakeholders to achieve agreement and success.
  • Translate requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Project Manage delivery of services both remotely and on-site.
  • Become a LawVu product expert and be fully informed on its partners and the wider eco-system.

In collaboration with the professional services, implementation and partnership teams, your primary goal will be to enhance client adoption, product stickiness, and retention; through a comprehensive technical onboarding approach that includes tailored data migrations, integrations and automations, to ensure clients realize maximum value from LawVu.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is client-facing. It’s responsibilities include:

Client Assessment & Solution Design:

  • Assess existing business and technical processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
  • Facilitate workshops and propose practical, technology-driven solutions that align with LawVu’s capabilities.

Data migrations

  • Guide and assist technical and non-technical client stakeholders through their data migration project, from export to cleansing to mapping to import. Work with incumbent vendors and IT teams to export and prepare data sets from a variety of sources.

API & Integration Development:

  • Design and implement custom integrations between LawVu and third-party platforms (e.g., financial, billing, HR, marketing systems) using LawVu’s API.

Automation & Workflow Solutions:

  • Develop and manage automated workflows using tools like Power Automate to optimize client processes and improve efficiency.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Build and maintain custom reports with Power BI to deliver insights and data-driven recommendations tailored to client needs.

Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and technical specifications, to ensure clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as the liaison between the client’s business stakeholders, IT, and technical teams, ensuring consistent communication, alignment, and successful project outcomes.

Project Management:

  • Manage service delivery by overseeing timelines, resources, and materials to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.

Solution Maintenance:

  • Support and maintain client solutions post-deployment, addressing issues promptly and ensuring ongoing functionality.

Learning Materials:

  • Create detailed learning materials and documentation to empower clients with knowledge and foster solution self-sufficiency.

Technical Support:

  • Deliver ongoing technical support for integrations, helping clients troubleshoot and optimize workflows as needed.

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Bring proficiency in data querying and management, experience with SQL and scripting languages such Perl or Python, and/or data cleansing processes and tools
  • Have advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills for quick data manipulation, validation, and analysis.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs
  • Can troubleshoot with the ability to utilize tools for testing, debugging and validation.
  • Are passionate about ensuring smooth coordination and execution, with a focus on delivering tangible results for customers.
  • Are adept at handling multiple client projects concurrently and multiple project work streams within broader programs of customer work.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical integration roles, particularly within complex environments or working closely with cross-functional teams including IT and business operations.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring clarity and buy-in from diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and driving operational excellence within integration projects.
  • Extensive experience with SaaS and tech vendors, their products, and operational environments, with a focus on improving processes and workflows through technology.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a hybrid, dynamic environment where priorities and responsibilities shift frequently, quickly aligning with evolving organizational needs.
  • Eager to build innovative integration solutions that enhance operations and processes, while collaborating with a talented, global team.
  • Flexible and able to work across multiple regions and time zones, adapting to client demand and resource requirements as needed.
