From centralizing matters, contracts, and legal spend in one intuitive workspace, to simplifying intake and enabling business self-service, LawVu is purpose-built for legal teams that want to work smarter. The video walks through the core components of the legal workspace—matter and contract management, spend tracking, knowledge base, AI-powered search, and insights reporting—showing how LawVu eliminates the need for multiple systems and provides a true single source of truth.
You’ll also see how LawVu delivers robust capabilities while remaining easy to use and configure, thanks to drag-and-drop workflows, embedded tools, and out-of-the-box integrations. Whether you’re using one part of the workspace or the full suite, LawVu’s consistent interface improves adoption, while centralized data supports automation, faster decision-making, and better cross-functional collaboration. For legal teams looking to scale efficiently, reduce complexity, and showcase value to the business, this demo is the perfect starting point.
If you’re part of a busy legal team, you might be looking for legal technology, but when you’re as busy as you are, finding, implementing and managing the right legal tech can feel like a big task. In the next few minutes, I’ll show you five of the reasons that law view’s customers have chosen to work with us.
And from there, if you like what you see, you can book a customized demo with us anytime, or access the resources that we have to help you dive deeper into
specific capabilities.
This is the legal team view. We call this page
the hub, and this is how primary users, which are typically your entire legal team, will experience law view to find information, manage work in progress, and get visibility across your entire workload. The key takeaway here and the thing our customers love is that Law view is designed to handle multiple in-house legal workflows.
Let’s have a look through the hub. We can see that law view is a system for managing matters. That’s what the blue icon means. And in law view speak, a matter can be an actual matter, like a litigation matter or a piece of advice, a request for contract review, a legal project, anything your team is working on.
We can also see that law view is a system for managing contracts through their lifecycle. The purple icon is a contract. Now, as we scroll down, we’ll see that again. Law View is a system for managing our matters and contracts in one place, and it’s also great for handling intake, funneling that work into your legal team.
In a structured way so that you can automatically or manually assign requests to anyone on your team. We’ll keep scrolling and we can see that law view is also a productivity tool with tasks to-dos embedded conversations, handovers planners, and if we look at the actions tile on the right, again, we see that evidence of law view as a CLM moving contracts through their lifecycle.
But we can also see that law view is a spend management system. So we’re centralizing and digitizing our invoices from outside counsel and streamlining those invoice approval workflows. That also gives us really critical spend data to work with. If you follow my cursor to the left, you can see that law view isn’t just about centralizing invoice and spend data, but we can actually manage RFPs, scope of work, and securely collaborate with our outside counsel.
Law view is also a knowledge base for the legal team and the rest of the business, and it has great analytics and reporting, which we’ll take a look at a little bit later. You don’t have to subscribe to all of the capabilities of law view ever or all at once, but there are benefits to legal teams and businesses who address multiple pain points with one piece of technology.
What if you didn’t have to waste time jumping between systems to find the status of something? What if you didn’t have to work with multiple vendors to find a complete data set
for all of the work that your legal team does?
Here’s takeaway number two.
While you can see that law view is easy to use, the capabilities for contract matter and spend management are truly robust. Let’s just dive into matter management as an example. This is our full repository of legal work. I’ll pop into my high risk matters. Take a look at something that we’re working on, which is a litigation matter, and here we can see that with each matter, we have a full range of capabilities.
Not only are we capturing key details and information, but we’re also able to create a relationship and context for any contracts that are related to this matter. We have productivity tools like task management and embedded conversations. Of course we have document management, including the ability to centralize store and search emails and their attachments.
If we’re working on this matter with outside counsel, which we may or may not be, we can capture scope management documents and budget information. Law views, contract management capability is similarly robust. We have full contract lifecycle management. When we open this contract, we can see key features like.
E-signature integration with your tool of choice, embedded collaboration and conversations, automated approval workflows, expiration and key date tracking. And we also have embedded AI data extraction that will help you easily find information within your contracts and extract that data to populate the system more quickly.
That pattern of. Robust, easy to use, highly configurable capability is repeated across matter, contract spend, management, knowledge management, and insights and reporting, and that consistent user experience is a bonus for you because
it reduces training and increases adoption.
Now let’s take a quick look at the third reason that our
customers choose law View. When you have a legal workspace, you’re building a vault of valuable legal information with every workflow you manage, every document you upload, every key date that you put in the system. A workspace makes it really easy to find, use, and reuse that information in a variety of ways to speed up workflows and to give you data that can help you make better decisions.
We’ll take a quick look at some of the ways this comes to life. One global search. I can find anything across the legal workspace using a structured search. Your single source of truth really shines when we apply the power of generative AI and natural language processing. This is a capability that we call workspace intelligence.
In this example, I’m asking law view to show me the confidentiality clauses that we used on the last three services agreements. So this will search my full contract repository and return results that I can use to draft a contract more quickly. Here’s another example. Anyone on my legal team can use natural language to search across our knowledge base, and I’ll quickly get a relevant result.
Fast access to the policy itself. Last but not least, we’re able to use natural language to search the entire repository for work that we’re doing with a specific entity, provider, customer, and get a set of results across matters and contracts that we can use to understand everything that we’re working on and our full history of our relationship.
Another great way to see the value of their ability to manage all your legal work in one place is with insights and reporting. You can see that it’s easy to get insights for any of the work that you’re handling in law, view matter management, contract management, and spend management. You can use these reports to have a full view of everything that your legal team is working on, or communicate value and have discussions
with the rest of the business.
Here’s another thing that really matters to the legal teams who choose lobby.
This is our organizational admin area. Now, it doesn’t sound that exciting, but the key takeaway is that managing and implementing and configuring and customizing and updating law view is easy. Law View does provide 24 7 easily accessible customer support with every subscription, and our customers love that.
We’ll also provide a dedicated implementation manager. We have change management capability, and you’ll have a dedicated customer success representative. But all of that being said, most of the administrative capability in law view is simple drag and drop functionality. Law View was built for in-house legal teams, and as much as possible, we make capabilities available to you out of the box.
For example, here are a number of optional integrations. What’s great about this is not only are the integrations themselves outta the box, but you don’t have to set them up across multiple types of technology if you’re using law view to manage matters, contracts, and
spend all in one place.
Okay, we’re down to the last thing I’m gonna cover today,
and this is an important one. Our customers love that Law View is built for in-house legal teams and workflows. And it’s built for their partners in the business. What we’re looking at here is the law view business portal, the business user view.
You can see that this team has chosen to make their knowledge base available. This legal team has also implemented a really great intake experience, so anyone from the business who wants legal help or advice can come and submit a request, and that’s a structured request that will go into the legal team’s triage queue.
Because this team is also using law view’s, contract management capabilities, they’re also taking advantage of law view’s, automation and self-service capabilities. As a business user, I can open this knowledge base article and learn a little bit more about how to handle NDAs in my business. By clicking on this button, I can simply fill in a few key fields and I’ve automatically created an NDA using my company’s legal template.
Now it’s in a law view, legal workspace where it can be sent for signing or managed throughout its lifecycle. The law view business portal also makes it easy for business users to understand the status and progress of any of the work that they’re doing with the team. They can not only track the progress of their contracts, but they can even manage them on their own.
So that’s a quick tour of the law view legal workspace. As we’ve said, you can choose to implement one specific part of the workspace or unleash the full power of the workspace all at once or over time.
