# LawVu > LawVu is the AI-native legal operating system (LegalOS) for in-house legal teams. It unifies intake, matters, contracts, spend, and AI agents on a single connected data layer, giving legal departments the visibility to lead, the control to govern, and the foundation to scale. It is organized around five pillars — Intake, Matters, Contracts, Spend, and LawVu AI (Intelligence) — on top of a unified data layer, an agentic framework where AI agents reason and act with human-in-the-loop guardrails, and two interfaces: a traditional workflow UI and LawVu Assistant, a conversational natural-language interface. Through its MCP server, third-party AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, custom AI) connect to LegalOS so it becomes the legal data and workflow layer other AI tools plug into. LawVu also integrates with enterprise systems including Salesforce, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Slack, DocuSign, SharePoint, Gmail, and Word.
