If you are, or your organisation holds any data regarding persons who are resident of the EU, regardless of the location of our data centres, we are required by law to comply with GDPR legislation. Below we have highlighted the ways in which we ensure ongoing compliance with the new GDPR requirements.

Breach Notifications

LawVu will notify all clients and individual users of any data breach that is likely to result in a risk for the rights and freedoms of individuals, without undue delay.

Right to access

As explained in our privacy policy (accessing and correcting your personal information), users may request a copy of any data we hold about them by written request, we will respond as soon as possible, and in all cases within 7 days of receipt.

Right to be forgotten

We require 7 days written notification in order for files and data to be completely removed from our servers.

Privacy by design

LawVu supports the privacy by design concept by limiting processing of our clients’ data to that necessary for us to offer the functionality of the LawVu application.

LawVu processes individual user data for the purpose of analysing usage patterns to support the improvement of functionality and performance of the application and to provide targeted customer support. We will not collect any more data than is strictly necessary to offer the functionality of the LawVu application.
