Sales Development Representative

We are looking for driven individuals with a passion for high growth environments, and a curiosity for cloud technology and legal tech to join our sales development team. As an SDR, you are the face of LawVu, often the first point of contact for prospective clients looking to better support their goals through our best-in-class legal workspace. Engaging with inbound leads generated by the growth marketing team, you will be laying the foundations for our sales team to engage and fully realize each opportunity.

In addition, you will be responsible for nurturing a set of strategic prospects as part of broader account based marketing (ABM) efforts.

Although reporting into the marketing organization, you will work hand in hand with our Account Executives who cover a breadth of industry verticals including Professional Services, Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology, manufacturing and many more.

The ideal candidate will be a strong integrated marketer with experience working closely with both sales and customer success. This is a hands-on role that demands speed, top-quality work, a willingness to relentlessly prioritize, and the creativity to try new things.

The ability to collaborate and establish client relationships with innovative solutions will be important. Further, curiosity will serve you well, as you quickly adapt to each client’s unique needs and direct them to the right tailored cloud solution. Your success will be measured on performance against monthly quota of activity and contribution to closed business. Being a self-starter and motivated by a goal will undoubtedly support your success

Day to Day You Will

  • Collaborate with clients and AE’s across a range of industries
  • Qualify and convert inbound marketing qualified leads (MQL’s) which originate from form fills, chats, website downloads, content syndication, webinars and events.
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer curiosity about our legal workspace.
  • Unlock strategic target accounts with sustained and innovative outreach that positions LawVu as the ideal solution for driving business impact.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and flexibility as part of a fast paced company with ambitious targets
  • Perform cold and warm outreach to our targeted prospects in coordination with Marketing and in coordination with AE partners
  • Maintain accurate and complete data in Salesforce, documenting lead gen activities and adding and cleaning data about our addressable prospects

  • Tech Friendly: You have knowledge of CRM (, Automated Marketing Software (Outreach) and buyer intent tools (6Sense) – or are gung-ho to learn.
  • Tech-Savvy: You have the ability to be proficient with SaaS solutions like LawVu and have the ability to have increasingly effective, value-driven client conversations within a few short weeks.
  • Innately Curious: You understand the value of quality data and using search engines, company websites and LinkedIn to sleuth for new prospects.
  • Results-Driven: You are awesome at setting your own daily priorities and delivering projects on time that match requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborative: You love teamwork. Your colleagues love having you on the team. You are comfortable with a reporting matrix requiring collaborating across both sales and marketing to deliver results.
  • An Effective Communicator: You write and speak clearly and concisely. You actively inform and inspire with your messaging. You speak plainly and are transparent with your business colleagues.
  • Accountability: You are comfortable being accountable for activity metrics and KPIs such as outgoing call attempts, connected calls, meetings scheduled, converted opportunities and closed sales and you are comfortable being partially compensated based on attainment of targets.
